 This young woman took a nasty fall in a parking lot and fractured her upper right central incisor. Examination revealed no nerve exposure or root fracture. A decision was made to repair the tooth with composite.  To reproduce the original shade and translucence, three different kinds of composites were added to the tooth incrementally one layer after another.
