Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. And it's been proven effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide.
This process begins when Dr. Wong developing a custom prescription for your mouth. Special attention is given to ensure that the smile he creates is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Next, at Invisalign, 3-D computer imaging technology is utilized to design the complete treatment plan, from the initial teeth positioning to the desired final positioning. This 3-D simulation will allow Dr. Wong to preview the final positioning of your teeth before you start your Invisalign treatment. A set of clear, plastic aligners is then manufactured based on the imaging information. Each of these aligners moves teeth incrementally and is worn for 2 weeks. Total treatment time is usually shorter than traditional braces and ranges from 6 to 24 months depending on the complexity of the case. Fee: $1800-$5500

Dr. Wong's Personal Invisalign Experience
Seeing my friends and patients benefiting from Invisalign the last three years, I decided to give it a try. This time, I would be the treating dentist as well as the patient. After wearing a total of 10 aligners over a period of 20 weeks, the crowding on my lower front teeth is corrected. From a dentist's perspective, the best thing about Invisalign is its computer-designed precision that enables them to move teeth more efficiently and comfortably than conventional wires and brackets. Also, it is easier to maintain good oral hygiene since the aligners are removable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!
